When you’re not in class, WC strives to provide a variety of activities to keep students engaged with college life.
- A dedicated activity period is blocked into the college’s class schedule from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m., allowing campus clubs and organizations to meet without conflicting with classroom time. Active clubs on campus include ag club, art club, creative writing club, Follow Our Lead, Phi Theta Kappa, science club, Student Government Association and many more.
- Each semester the Office of Student Life hosts a casino night, campus cookout, pep rally and other events for students to enjoy.
- The fine arts department puts on a variety of concerts and productions showcasing our students’ work in jazz, piano, opera, choir, theatre and visual arts.
- Home basketball, baseball and softball games are free to attend for current students. For those wanting more hands-on sports, intramural volleyball, basketball and flag football is offered each year.
